Parish Church of St Uvelus, St Eval, nr Padstow, Cornwall. The church has Norman origins, and was remodelled and extended in the 13th and 15th centuries. After much of the settlement was cleared for the construction of the neighbouring Royal Air Force St Eval Coastal Command station, it became the station church. Close links to the RAF are maintained to this day. The 60ft tower served as an important navigation marker for ships passing Trevose Head.<\/p>
